Freida, you are in a place of support and tips on how to help.

If you can give us a little more information on where you are. Have you had surgery? Are you working with a gynecologic oncologist? The specialist will make the plan and you will work that plan.

Again, you are not alone dear. Good women and their loved ones here to listen.

Actually, they moved up my visit to last Thursday and I had surgery today. Removed uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, ovaries and some lymph nodes. Lab results will be back within two weeks. Thank you for thinking of me. I am in Henderson, Nevada and am told I have, perhaps, the best gyno-oncologist/surgeon in southern Nevada. She said there is a high probability of chemo. So will make my office appointment tomorrow and will keep you posted. My name, actually, is Susan, I named my tumor Freida. My daughter went through a brain tumor 20 years and we found this helps with the fear. You name it and talk with it and the anxiety is lessened. I am British by birth so this is probably our strange sense of humor.

Well that is good. Your team is certainly on the ball. I hope Freida is very small on biopsy and your recovery from surgery is quick. I lived in Belfast NI so I saw some of the dry British humor. 🙂Good luck o n the biopsy.

Susan, it all makes sense, British or not! You want to follow the instructions on not lifting anything and remember REST is RESTorative, so when you are tired - give in to it.

Look forward to hear what was found and what the plan is moving forward.
