New diagnosis
I was diagnosed via colonoscopy after a positive Cologuard result. Having my CT Friday. My main concern is that the DR couldn't push the wand past the mass even though I've had no change I bowel movements. It's lower left so most of the bowel remains un checked at this point. He said the mass was wrapped around the inside of the colon. Any one else had this experience?

My colon was mostly blocked, I cannot recall if the colonoscopy made it past there, but the CT scan and likely surgery should resolve the issue. . . not that that is too encouraging. Sorry you are facing these issues.

I also had a blockage that the camera could not pass. I was initially staged at III but bumped up to IV when they found a lesion in the liver.
So a blockage doesn't necessarily mean it is Stage IV.
And by the way, I was diagnosed in December 2012, I am Stage IV and there has been No Evidence of Disease (you will see it written as NED) for EIGHT YEARS.
Look ahead to a long a glorious future. Cancer doesn't always end in death.
