Bone metastasis

in Colorectal Cancer #1

Hi everyone. My mom has stage IV bowel cancer. Spread to liver and now been found in bones. Unsure the extent of it. Any experience or NED?

    I don’t have any experience to share with you but I wanted you to know that I saw your post and my thoughts are with you and your mother.

    I hope that the doctors have been able to provide you with some information and a treatment plan.

    I am stage IV CRC dx in 12/2016. Initially I had mets in liver and later in lung These were treated with chemo, they recede for awhile then return. Then i have more chemo Summer of 2021 a bone metastasis was discovered in my skull base. I received 5 radiation tx to relieve pain in jaw, face. I have just finished 12 FOLIRI treatments. Will be getting scanned soon to see if it worked. So I am still in the game, so to speak

    you didn't say which bones were affected, i hope she is not in pain. Good luck to your mom as her course of tx is planned and implemented
