Cologuard Regret
I have seen other posts but they seem to be from a few years ago. I got notified that my Cologuard test was positive. It's been 11 1/2 years since the last colonoscopy. (actually, my first) I had a whipple surgery 8 years ago so please tell me how I would know if I actually had any 'changes' in habits. I also noticed from my CT scan in October, that I have scattered diverticular disease, which poses no danger. I wonder if these pockets in the colon can bleed? Well, that's what I'm hoping for anyway. Colonoscopy scheduled for January 6th. I am quite distressed and don't even want to do Christmas. Forgive me for whining!!!

You can whine. It is a stressful time, waiting.
You may have already read about the many false positives that members - brief visitors, really - have had. It is not unusual.
I could tell you to not to worry and to go ahead and enjoy Christmas, but it will be hard to do, with this hanging over your shoulder. Still, I am going to suggest that you try your best to enjoy the season, and I wish you well.
Keep us posted.
