Rercurrent breast cancer after 20 years clear
Hi everyone,
I am new to this group. I have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer after 20 years clear from my initial diagnosis. I begin getting all my scans today...... and finish with the last one (Brain) next Wednesday, the 30th.
I'm very worried, as one might expect. I'm having trouble managing my anxiety. Exerecise is helping, I'm drinking St Johns Wort tea daily and working with some lavender oil to help with anxiety. I like to think that my anxiety level will decrease once we get some answers and I know what I am up against.
Suggestions are always welcome....... I'm so thankful to be able to reach out to other women who know what this is like. Many Blessings.

Beauty, how are you?
Hello Beautyofflowers,
I am new to this forum as well and am just beginning to read through some of the discussions and came across yours. I am sorry to hear about what your going through now. How are you doing? How is your anxiety? Waiting for those answers is very difficult indeed. How did they find the recurrence? How did your scans go?
I care,
Sincerely,
jude

Poor thing, happened to a friend os mine 20 yrs later also. She tested for the BracGene yep had it elected removal of both breasts. Why not keep that first time around & crap like yours doesn't need to happen. She was upset since so high in family. But not as educated 20 yrs ago. Improvements have occurred for Breast & they know so much for. I wish you so much luck on your journey. Yes anxiety will calm after all tests done. My recommendation get copies of everything so you can refer to if get confused. Lisa
