Sad news about foxy
While working to gather information about Ron50 (still no word back from his son) I read several posts from/about foxy. She and Ron had received the same chemo treatment back in the 1990s (5fu and levamisol). Levamisol was later banned for human use in many countries, including the United States, due to its adverse effects.
Foxy survived for 28 years after her Stage 4 diagnosis. But like Ron, she suffered many other health problems after her treatment, many of which she attributed to levamisol. However, she was happy to have lived long enough to see the births of her grandchildren and watch them grow.
While she hadn't been active on this site for the past few years, some of the older members might remember her, so I'm posting this link:

Bless her!
I am so very saddened to hear about Foxy. She was a stalwart! 28 years a Stage IV survivor; may we all be so blessed.
It is never enough time, of course; too much love to leave behind. But maybe she was at peace, I would like to think so.
Thank you so very much for sharing her passing. We would never have known otherwise.
May we still find Ron among the living. If not, I hope he and Foxy are living it up somewhere in the great beyond.
