Today is Memorial Day

Memorial Day is the day to remember those men and women who died while serving in our nation’s armed forces

Take a moment this weekend to honor those who served our nation and are no longer with us.

As Americans, we enjoy the enormous blessing of freedom. Remembering those who died to preserve that freedom is an obligation we all share.

Here is a link to the changing of the guard at the "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier".

Every time I see this Guard Changing Ceremony I am proud of the soldiers who meticulously carry this out and honor those that gave "The Last Full Measure" please watch and be proud of our nation. I usually shed a few tears also as I think about the families that lost loved ones and how birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions are never the same without their loved ones. I am also honored and humbled that many unselfishly gave of themselves all they had for country and freedom.

I know this is a little belated but I am adding another tribute link in honor of the men and women who gave it all for our country-for our freedom-
