It's been two years since my last treatment. My butt hole still hurts sometimes after a hard bowel movement. I was doing so well for a few months. Anyone else have this probblem?

Yes, I think because the tissue was damaged back there due to the radiation. I noticed I also have some soreness if I sit to long. I hope that helps to reassure you, a lot of us are putting our side affects and symptoms together. I wasn't told what is normal and what is not or the short and long term side affects.

    Have you tried Calmoseptine ointment?

    Hi there!

My doctor had me use calmoseptine regularly, at first. It's an over-the-counter ointment you can find at CVS or Rite-aid near the depends section! I'm 6 years out. Now I only need it occasionally, especially after really spicey foods which burn my fragile skin. Oh, I'm also supposed to do 100 kegels a day for better bowel control.
