Eyes hurt

in Colorectal Cancer #1

I have had a new symptom lately. When I wake up sometimes, it feels like my eyelashes are stuck on my eyeball, and oprning my eyes feels like ripping a bandaid off. It then kind of hurts all day. Anyone ever experience that?

    That is a strange symptom. 

    That is a strange symptom.  Are you dehydrated?

    My dad

    My dad said his eyes were like that when he woke up during chemo but never said they hurt

    Me too

    I had the same thing when i was on FolFiri plus avastin.   An eye doctor told me to wash my eyes twice a day with baby shampoo. Such a simple thing, but it really worked.

    Eye Drops

    You may want to ask about eye drops. Sounds like dry eye.  I think chemo messed with my eyes a bit, though not dry eye. (Or me just getting older each year could be the case, I rather blame the chemo Foot in Mouth)
