Update on my wife's scan
My wife had a follow-up CT scan this past Wednesday and she got the results yesterday. NED.
My wife was diagnosed at 39 yrs old with stage 4 colon cancer with liver mets. Who knows that the future brings but for those in a similar position, just know that there are good stories out there.
We've never felt anxiety like we had leading into and including this week. Now we can breathe a little until the next scan several months from now. Thank you Everyone for your kind comments and support and we'll keep thinking about you all as well.

Fantastic!
My little friend has been hidden for a while now, and is eager to help with the celebrations.
I have always called him my little friend, or Happy Dancing Man, but I think today, I will call him NED.
Live, live, live this dream come true, every single day.

Thats wonderful news!!! Scanxiety is real and also the worst feeling. Happy NED results!
Thank you for the message. It's the worst, indeed. After we got the results, we were just simply exhausted, but I proud of her for rolling with it. Take care.

Thanks, Kim. We are taking it one day at a time of course, but we are so relieved. Thank you for taking the time to send good wishes and for being a source of strength to everyone on this board.

We couldn't read the scan report fast enough. We get it in electronic form on my wife's online portal before seeing the Dr. An anxious way of doing things but thank Gd it was good news. At the end of it, there lies the conclusion "No Evidence of Metastatic Disease". What a relief. Thank you for messaging and all the best.
