6 years NED today

Hi all, it's been a while

Today is my sixth year cancer free anniversary, old buddies remember it was a huge 10 cm tumor. Six years past and here I am, NED, NED, NED

STAY VIGILANT AND POSITIVE

    I don't know exactly, but my uro-oncologist's plan for next few years is to have pelvic and abdominal ultrasound twice a year and blood work once a year.

    Congratulations, I'm so happy for you.

    I remember how it was promising for me to hear good news from other cancer survivors at the beginning of my journey that's the reason I want to share my good news with newer members to help them stay hopeful.

    There is hope! Approaching 7 years without recurrence.

    I will be 7 years in September!  No recurrence, but continuing to monitor a simple cyst on remaining kidney.  Ultrasound yearly, though the oncologist wants to stop yearly monitoring.  I expressed concern that the cyst had grown .5cm in the last year.  He has suggested a non-contrast CT to ascertain the cyst characteristics, and pending that result  a cessation of yearly monitoring.
