My Mother and Breast Cancer
Hello. My name is, Samuel. About twelve years ago, my mother was diagnosed with stage I breast cancer, on the right side of her right breast. I believe the size was about 1.2cm. Her treatment was surgery and radiation. As of the last few weeks, she's been feeling pains and numbness in her right arm and pain on the right side of her back.
My question to you is what is the likelihood of a recurrence? As of yesterday {07.24.2020}, she was scheduled to have a CT scan and a mammogram in August.

Hi
It's hard to say. Well I feel numbness in my left hand and arm every once in a while, but I think it's from the arimidex I have to take. I have been on them for almost 2 years. You feel so many effects from the 5 year pill. I am sure she doesn't take those anymore being that it's been 12 years. That is wonderful. Ok getting back to your mom. It's good that she is getting it checked out. Tell you mom to hang in there and think positive.
