Check In With Big Hug
I don't know how to operate this machine!!..lol..I'm sure these photos are too big but I don't know how to fix them. Hello to my kindred spirits. What a crazy start to a new year for sure. I think of everybody here often even tho' I don't post or check in much. I am squeezin in as much "life" as I can. I had my last scans back in December and at that time I had several lung mets scattered in both lobes. One was 11 mm and the others were pretty small..total of 7 thru both lungs. I remained firm on having no more chemo. I also refused immunotherapy. I continue to live a relatively healthy life style and contine natural and alternative supplements. I finally took the trip to Ireland with my daughters. We were there from March 8-16th. It was a wonderful trip even tho' we got caught in the middle of all of the travel ban confusion. We made it back without any trouble and no sign of the virus for any of us. The two photos are from the trip. The very first day we caught a rainbow!! These are some crazy stressful times for everyone. Having cancer and wondering about treatment in the midst of all of this is simply a nightmare. I was scheduled to have a scan and blood work April 1st but we have postponed it until June to keep me away from unwanted exposure. I am feeling wonderful with no pains or symptoms of anything going on so I will continue to run with this life "like I stole it!"...All of you are in my prayers and thoughts always. Everyone stay safe and fight strong...Love, light and the biggest of hugs to each one of you!!

Update
Thank you so much for the update and you look wonderful in those pictures. So glad that you had a chance to go to Ireland and enjoy yourself, and then get back into the states safely.
Ireland is one place I've always wanted to go but I'm an anxious flier so that length of trip would be too stressful for me. Bet it was just beautiful.
Take care of yourself and enjoy your mountains and surroundings.
Hugs! Kim

HEY GIRL!!!
Look at you.... the pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow!!! I think of you often and wonder if you were able to take your trip not knowing when in March it was. I'm so happy for you! And quite jelly too.
Big ole hugs to you my sweet Southern sista! For once I'm glad that South Carolina is behind the rest of the world, especially here in the mountains. But I've been self- isolating and working from home for weeks. And loving it! Take care girlfriend, and be in touch!

Thank you for the note. The trip was beautiful beyond words. It was a very spiritual journey for me as well that I am so grateful to have been able to take. I am back at my mountain place working outside most days soaking in the Spring sunshine taking one beautiful day at a time. Even tho' I decided against any more treatment, I venture back to the board and it is always such a comfort to see the responses to the posts from pillars of support and encouragement such as yourself. You are so appreciated!! Hugs your way...M

Sweet Tru....I miss my friend
So good to see words from you...always a lighthouse for me in the dark. Ireland took my breath and kept a piece of my heart for sure. I will go back to see the Northern part and Scotland when the virus turmoil settles down. I am still running with my life like I stole it..lol. Scans and bloodwork set for June but may skp them since I am not doing any treatment. Don't really see the purpose or time waste unless I have pain or issues going on. As of now, I feel wonderful so I am hanging on to that and loving life. Love and hugs your way my friend!!
