Lump under lumpectomy scar

I was diagnosed in Feb 2018 with estrogen receptor positive (CMS-HCC) Breast Cancer Grade 1 Stage 1. No lymph node invasion. Lumpectomy was successful and all was removed. With Radiation. I burned badly. I have been on Tamoxifen for a year now. I have been Cancer free for over a year now. I have always noticed a hard lump under my scar and was told this was normal. In the last couple months i have noticed that this lump is much larger now and has reached the opposite side of my breast. Its very hard and odd shaped. Not circular. I have an appointment with my surgeon for a 2 year follow up and mammogram next week. I'm so nervous. Should i call and see if i can get in sooner? or just wait it out?

    Lump Under Lumpectomy Scar

I see that it has been over a week since your initial posting. Have you had the appointment with your surgeon that you mentioned? Please let us know how it went. Had I seen your posting earlier I would have said that a growing lump is not one to be ignored and should be examined/imaged/biopsied. All women should be vigilant about breast lumps but those of us with a history of breast cancer have to step it up a notch. I wish you the best of luck.
