Assuming many who have had treatments have suffered from the side effect of the metal taste in the mouth that will not go away.  Any suggestions on how you are dealing with that or dealt with this in the past are appreciated!

    Metal taste

    Hi Mary,

I have no idea if this works, but I just learned about something called miracle berry that temporarily restores your tastebuds.  You can buy tablets on Amazon.

It is supposed to work for cancer patients, whose taste is affected by chemo.  I hope it works.

    Metallic taste is rendered by

Metallic taste is rendered by drugs and also by acidity. Most of time its because of the chemotherapeutic drugs which are being administered and metallic aftertaste is a side effect experienced by its users. Other option could be the abdominal distress which is causing acidity leading to metallic taste in the mouth. You should talk to your doctor regarding the same and maybe they can change your medicine for better.

    I found that switching to

I found that switching to plastic forks and spoons helped a lot, and avoiding acidic foods too. I'm 4 weeks past my final cemo, and even now I have a few issues with it. My doctor asures me though that it will go away.
