Question for those of you with lymphedema
For any of you who have developed lymphedema: Was severe knee pain an early symptom for any of you?
I have no swelling at all and doctor checks say no sign of lymphedema, and my knee pain could easily be attributable to the aromatase inhibitor I'm on. But, since a lot of the pain is directly behind my kneecaps, I'm wondering about fluid buildup being a possible cause.
Thanks!

I would try and see a PT that knows lymphedema. It has relieved my pain so much!

I had read that before posting, yes! So glad you're getting relief. I didn't realize from reading that post that knee pain had been an early symptom of your lymphedema. How did it progress from there?

mine
My swelling had been gradual and would go down at night so I did not realize how much the swelling impacted my legs, knees, etc. Now that the swelling has been reduced, the muscles and nerves are not so tight and the knee pain is only from my OA. I am so much better.
