My condolence to her family
Debbiejeanne,
Thank you for the information. Phrannie was absolutely one of my greatest friends I gained from being a member of the H&N forum, in particular the class of 2012. We had a very active (large) group of friends and everyone was trying to help each other out. She will be greatly missed by me and many others. I am glad she had family around her. I will miss her always, she was a real pal.

I will dearly miss Phrannie
Chiming in from the 'Class of 2010' here. Phrannie was a source of love, humor, guidance and support, and we have stayed in touch via Facebook over the intervening years. I don't believe I would have made it through treatment without the endless support provided by Phrannie and all of the other wonderful folks here. I don't have words to express the gratitude I feel. Rest in peace beautiful Phrannie. You will live on in my heart forever.

The loss of a friend.....
Debbie thank you for letting us know. I have known Phrannie for 6 years and watched her offer support to so many, including myself. She always was cheerful even when hanging from a fan when she had to have a scan done. My prayers are with her family and friends. There is no more pain and she is at peace. Jackie will be missed but never forgotten.
Bill Class of 2013.

Phrannie was a Blessing
To this forum and the many people she helped personally and through the forum overall. She had a big heart and was always there to help others. She will be greatly missed. Sincere condolences to Phrannie's family and to the CSN family she gave so much time to. She was always upbeat in any given situation and lifted many of us up when we were down. She showed us how to keep enjoying life and look ahead even while fighting a dreaded disease. She will be dearly missed.

Saddened
Like all of you, I thought that Phrannie was one of the very best souls in this community. She was funny, witty, kind, supportive, and so strong in her support of others and her battles with cancer. I had a number of PMs with her over the years, and considered her my "good friend that I never met in person."
I had been in contact with her a lot in the past few months. I have written a book about my own journeys in cancer world, and asked if she would write a short blurb to go inside one of the book's covers. She graciously agreed to do that and I sent the book manuscript to her in early December, never suspecting she was so close to the end. She sounded very strong the one time we talked over the phone. We joked about whether she should identify herself in the book as Phrannie51, or Jackie. I only learned her real name when she gave me her mailing address.
We have all lost a good friend. This is a really sad day.

Bill, you fan comment made me giggle. She hung from that fan many times. I'm sure she will continue to keep all of us in her pocket for save keeping. Truly a special lady and friend to all.

My condolences
Debbiejeanne,
Having finished my treatment on the first week of April, 2009, I was very active when Phrannie joined our ACS H&N family before her treatment started. I, like others, offered the advice of getting a 2nd opinion on the treatment plan, which she said her Dr. did with MD Anderson. She was very nervous, then, as we all are between diagnosis and treatment, and she thanked me graciously a number of times for what help my words were to her then. And she even sent me a Private Message on 8/25 when she learned I had rejoined the Forum earlier this year, with very kind words. She was known to some as P-51, too, but to me she was Montana Phrannie. I followed her positive and encouraging words the two times the C came back, and happy to hear she had been treated at Dana Farber, which is a highly respected C Center. Phrannie made frequent posts, many friends on this Forum, and helped a great many other C victims. To hear of her passing, now, truly does sadden me greatly. She will be remembered by many of us for the remainder of our lives. I can think of no higher compliment I can give you about her in your time of grief. Know that there are many of us on the H&N Forum who are also sharing in this grief with you.
