Grape seed extract
Yes, I take trunature Grape Seed & Reservatol, available at Costco. From my perspective, there is ample research that shows especially reservatol (also abundant in red wine) gives a survival advantage without any real downside. Be careful, Tru, you may risk boarding the supplement train.

Does it work if you ingest it as two glasses of wine during the last half of the two week round of chemo?

My recollection from my earlier research is that there is a definite survival advantage to drinking a glass or two of red wine. I drank it during chemo, although I am not much of a red wine fan.

I knew you would know something.
I'm looking at one made by Terry's Naturals
a bit pricey, so I've got to think carefully about it.
Also, how do you make the link so that is just says a word and you click on it?
Tru
Copy the link into your clipboard (basically, just hit "copy"). Highlight the word in your post you wish to link. Go to the "chain link" symbol in the control bar on the post and click it. A dialog box will pop up. Paste the link into the first line, and choose if you want it to open in the same page or a new page (I always click "new page"). Then post it. You now have a "hot link." It took me a while to figure all this out.

I finally got it.

Did lots of research on GSE
Did lots of research on GSE early in our journey. It was one of the first strong antioxidants I looked into and supplemented with. It's good stuff. If your going to buy, make sure it is GSE and not just grape seed powder, which is fine, just not a powerful antioxidant. You want GSE that is 95% proanthocyanidins or better. This is the active constituent you're looking for.
Lots of good research and results out there with a bit of it pertaining to CRC.
Only caveat is, I would hold off taking GSE while receiving any of the -platin (platinum) such as Oxaliplatin therapies. It can counteract the intrinsic and the extrinsic pathway of apoptosis induced by Oxaliplatin. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5584210/
Other then when on the -platins, it's good

That is good information.
Hey Sandia - I'm into Elderberry, Turmeric and now I think I'll add GSE. Does that mean I'm aboard the supplement train? Tru
