Got through the surgery
So I got through the surgery on Thursday and only had one complications, I had irregular heart beat and went into afib, but they pulled me out of it and I am good. Doc beleives the chemo i had for my BC was a contributor to this. So while I went home with one less kidney, I pick up 2 more meds for life.
I feel good though. God is good all the time!
Hugs and thanks for the prayers,
Annie

Wasn't sure if anyone had replied recently to your "Hi, I'm new here" post. Welcome. I have been wading through reading many posts and threads the past few days. Some give me hope and some depress me immeasurably but in some weird way still amaze me at what we can go through. I wish you well on your path and hope you are asking questions, accepting and asking for help, using all the tools at your disposal, ask more questions, admit fear (this is seriously scary!!)
Bless you on this journey!

It looks like your last post was Aug 6. I hope they have figured out some solutions for your problems.
I just started reading and posting yesterday and saw some of yours. Particularly your picture...what a wonderful, crazy bunch of powerful love supporting you there! Makes me smile every time I see it. Keep it close to you at all times! I have a beautiful picture of my 93 yr old friend who recently past that I keep with me. She is my angel.
Bless you and sending strength and love.

Thanks for asking Larbara. I still am having problems. I have passed my lung test. They changed up my meds and put a holter monitor on me for a month to see if there is a pattern to it. My BP keeps shooting to the moon and I go in and out of Afib. Found out the hospital nurses messed up. They gave me too much medication for the heart and dismissed me with it. So new heart doc is trying to fix that. It is complicated. So trying to heal. Some days are harder than others but I am not giving up. Two days ago, I drove for the first time in a month. It is the little things that matter.
Hugs and prayers going up for all,
Annie

Rosalia83,
I just joined today. Was diagnosed in 2017. Finished treatment (surgery, chemo, radiation) in 2018. Now trying to find right meds. The best advice I could offer soemone is make sure you are making educated decisions that are right for you. So many people will tell you what to do or about someone they know. But, that someone is not you. Do what feels right for you. Hope all goes well. Seems that if you have to start this journey, here seems like a good place. Wish I found it sooner!
