Scan tomorrow

in Kidney Cancer #1

Time flies, 3rd year annual chest, abdomen and pelvis CT tomorrow. Thought could be calm but still kind of anxious over it. Hope all turns out well. Had right kidney partial neph in Sept 2016 Clear Cell, Stage 1A Grade 2.

    Thanks everyone. Seeing doctor in 2 days time to review. Into my 3rd year CT. Done almost 6-7 CTs so far. Read many risks pertaining to having too many CTs and its radiation. Wondering should I stop CT and do other forms of scan like US? Recent CT for chest, abdomen, pelvis and kidney all at one time worries me.

    Not an oncologist and of course you need to follow what yours recommends but I think that many CTs for a stage 1 is a bit too cautious. Discuss whether switching to US would be ok for you.
