    Our Breathing

Has to go through that area so I would say it does both as a unit although we mostly breathe through our nose we breathe through the mouth also. It is an area of the body that does so many functions. Check this link out it gives a lot of info and seems to support you-God Bless

Also another link that may help---

    VA Claim?

    Beach1boy,

    First, "Welcome Home"

I am guessing that you are preparing for an Appeals Hearing in front of a VA Judge. If you haven't done so at this point, you may want to search the VA Board of Appeals rulings and find claims that were "Denied" and "Granted" to see what took place for the ruling related to your cancer.

    https://www.index.va.gov/search/va/bva.jsp

It helps if you have "Expert Opinions" in favor of your claim. You may already know this, but it wasn't mentioned in your original post. When is your Hearing scheduled? Do you have a Veterans Service Officer (VSO) helping you? I am not a VSO, just a Vietnam Veteran that has been down this road.

My Best to You and Everyone Here

    VA Claim

Thank You for the welcome home

I had a video conference 3 weeks ago, the judge gave me 60 days to present additional data to support my claim .

I had a rep from the DAV for the hearing who told me to find a doctor or research paper to support my claim.

I will check the site you have posted , I have letters from two Doctors I submitted, and am looking for additional information to submit.

Thank You for your service and assistance on this claim
