Biopsy results
I have an appointment next Thursday to go over my results from my d&c I had done on the 23rd.but I’m getting nervous waiting.how long did you wait? Does that mean no news is good news

Two days for the preliminary report
about 10 days for the final. In my case it was UPSC, and my initial docotor wanted to get the news to me ASAP so I could get an appointment to a GO. Getting the right diagnosis is more important than a few extra days of waiting, as horrible as it is to wait. Also, I went for a second opinion where I ended up getting treatment and they wanted the actual slide not just review what the first pathologist reported. This only took a day once they received the slides at the large teaching hospital. I think if it had been benign or a low grade finding they might not have rushed it. Waiting is the hardest part of the initial diagnosis.

Two days for me
My gyn called me with the news two days after the D&C, then met with me two days after that. I was told it would be a week but they got me the information much sooner. I hope you don't have to wait any longer than absolutely necessary! The waiting part is some of the most difficult.

My D&C was done March 21. I had an appointment for results on April 10 (set up with assistant), but gynecologist told assistant that I didn't have that much time and to come to the office March 27 and that she'll made space for me in her schedule no matter what. That's when I knew something was wrong.
I got adenocarcinoma type 3, aggressive, so my gynecologist wanted to make sure I got to a gyno-oncologist asap. She actually got up from her chair after telling me the news, picked up the phone herself and made the call to the gyno-oncologist who operated on me April 15. Her hope was that they would catch it before it spread. I got stage 1a, but because it was type 3, I'm getting brachytherapy soon.

Yeah, when I got the call "can you come in tomorrow?" I knew something wasn't right. I don't know if I thought it was that bad, but I remember everything about that day.
Waiting is the hardest part.

It does feel like so much longer like everything else is on hold.I have been trying to keep mind on other things.I have been planting flowers and doing a rock garden. My husband asked me how many more things am I going to plant and put in the yard.I find it relaxing.hope you don’t have to wait much more.

Went to the doctor and everything came back negative.like a ton of bricks life’s off my chest. I think I felt like I took my first breath after 2 weeks.He said it was thicken with folds and know they are going to watch and see with follow ups and when I get my next cycle how I do.As happy as I am with my results I can’t help but feel for everyone else that’s going threw this.my thoughts are with you and hope many more get good news I will still be reading and staying in touch.thank you ladies for your support.
