Showing my scars today...

So as you all know I was diagnoised with another cancer in December.  I have been dealing with it and it has been a nightmare.   Today they finally (at my demand)  took out the uretial (spell) stent that us been beating the crap out of my left kidney, ureater, and bladder since January.  I have went through painful treatments trying to get the cancer out of that kidney and there is no other way except to take out the kidney.  So today, I requested that.  I told my doc I was not living a quality of life and it was time to take it out.  Get one big pain over withand move on.  He tried to argue about it and I stood up, lifted my shirt to show him the scars left behind by my breast cancer.  and I showed him the scar from my complete hysterectomy and said, I have had enough misery.  I am done.  Take it out and let me go on with my life.  He said, ok.

So a left nephrectomy will be on my agenda soon.   Sometimes you have to be a lion to handle the beast.  Roar on ladies.

Hugs,

Annie

    Thank you

I love my BC warriors.  You all are so understanding and brave.  I will let you know how it goes.  It takes awhile to set all that up.  I am thinking it wont be until July.

    Prayers and hugs.

    Prayer and hugs

Congraulations on advocating for yourself! You are in my prayers. Luckily, we are born with two kidneys. In school I learned that some people are actually born with three!
