My new mantra
I woke up with this repeating in my head as I was reflecting about the wisdom being shared here especially by the long term members.
There IS life with cancer... and where there is life, there is HOPE.
You all have taught me that.
Thank you

A Latin phrase that translates to “ While I breathe, I hope“..I love it..I will have this tattooed somewhere soon as a flip off to my cancer. Hugs, M

Love that spirit, there is
Love that spirit, there is life with cancer!! I love defiance in the face of our mortality. A FB meme has some guy's obit, talking about how he'd wanted the world to know that cancer didn't win, because it died when he did, and therefor it was a tie, lol..............................................Dave

I like that Dave. I'm hoping to die from something else and cheat the bugger. I've been told that most people with cancer actually die of something else like pnuemonia.

Hope
Yes there is always hope. Looking back at my mom passing away in 1991 with breast cancer and look at the strides they have made today is nothing but amazing and she would be alive today because so much research has been done since then and much improvement. Also, being 10 years out I've seen new treatments available now that never was just 10 years ago and the simple fact that progress has been made greatly. Hold on to hope and thank you for your wisdom.
