Hello all

it has been some time that I have been on. I remember 10 years ago being told that I had stage 4 cancer. I turned  to this group and meet a lot of wonderful people, that help me in the worse parts of my journey. i Hope the format helps you as much as it helped me.

    Wonderful

So glad to see you posting.  You came on later in the year I joined.  Your surgery was the day of me finding out.  Real memorable Thanksgiving for us both.  So glad to hear that you are 10 years clear and letting us know.

    Congratulations!

It's wonderful to hear from Stage 4 survivors!  You are a lucky man to have beat your cancer.  It is so inspiring to hear from you and others that have survived for so long.

I have found alot of support on this site since I was diagnosed at Stage 4 over 3 years ago.  I am still in the battle and have been told I will be on chemo for the rest of my life.  Praying to find a cure or at least a more tolerable chemo regimine.

    Stage 4 colon cancer

i was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in January. Go for chemo every 2 weeks and then take home chemo for 46 hours. I’m really frightened.

    10 years? Congrats.

    10 years? Congrats.

Some questions, if you don't mind:

    1. Was yours a right-sided or left-sided cancer?
    2. What genomic mutations were you tested for and what were the results?
    3. What treatment regimens did you receive?

Great to hear Muzzy, I read

Great to hear Muzzy, I read your story and they took some large parts of things, but caught it, which is itself an inspiring story for those who have that sort of spread. Thanks for coming by and sharing..........................................Dave

    Same here

I was just diagnosed yesterday with stage 4 colon cancer. They have told me to be on a chemo regime every two weeks that I take home as well. They also told me it is treatable but not curable. Frankly I am frightened and depressed. Is this the only solution to keep from dying of the disease? I never thought I would be having this discussion.
