Thanks for sharing, CheeseQueen. There is so much we do not know yet about microbiome. Cancer Research UK just awarded 20 Million pounds to investigate how gut bacteria might be playing a role in development of (and may be cure of) cancer.

This is a very promising area of research. Hopefully soon we will have a better understanding of this relationship. Until then taking probiotics -especially when on treatment - is like taking random pills from your medicine cabinet, isn't it? They are powerful but we don't know what exactly they do.
