in Kidney Cancer #1

So my biopsy was positive for RCC

Meeting today with Radiation oncology to set up SRBT. The plan is to zap those two spots and bring me back to NED.

I will re scan May 13th. In the meantime I'll just be plugging along one foot in front of the other...

    You've seen alot of ups and downs so far on this journey but unfortunately that's the nature of the beast.  Hoping that this procedure gets rid of those unwanted spots and you are doing better going forward-June

    Just really ready for a break. I know shouldn't complain because it can always be worse. I just find myself very melancholy these days......

    Yes, it happens.  It seems to go with the disease/condition/name the illness.  The ultimate goal is to come out the other side alive and ready to get on with life.

    Well mapping is done now wait for them to call a schedule for treatment. Mammogram on Monday...my life is so fun...lol

    I know it's been quite the process to get to where you are now.  I hope that there's a level of relief that comes with knowing for sure what it as, and that you have a plan to take care of it. You'll be NED again before you know it!

    I also like donna lee will be having a colonoscopy next week as my recently MRI scan they found something suspicious in my ascending colon. Quite worriesome too....lets keep our fingers crossed

    Dr office's seem to be the only phone calls we get on home phone. You have seen to many but we're with you. Know people are keeping and sending thoughts for you. Treat yourself to something you enjoy this weekend, you've earned it.

    Tell them to aim well

    My SIL had SBRT on two tumors near the trachea and aorta and ended up with some scar tissue in the trachea that has caused some problems.  Hope your treatment goes brilliantly!
