Lung Nodules
Went for 1.5 year check up. CT of chest and ultra sound of kidneys. DOC wanted CT of chest, abdomina and pelvis but insurance got in the way.. Anyway, had a 4mm stable nodule since the beginning now I have another 4mm nodule that showed up this time- not sure how worried I should be or what I should ask for if anything? Everything else looked good...Not sure if I'm NED or not.
Talk to Doc tomorrow! Fingers crossed.

Nodules
I am actually going tomorrow to get mapping done to start SRBT for two lung nodules both 8mm..one in each lung. This will currently bring me back to NED!
I had one of mine biopsied and it was positive.
Best of luck to you!

Trucker, you definitely
Trucker, you definitely should keep an eye on this new nodule. At the same time it would hiiiighly unlikely for anyone with ccrcc less than 3 cm to get mets. So with the greatest probability it’s just another benign nodule, same as the first one. Sad thing that the only way to know is wait for 3-6 months, which would be stressfull. But gut feeling says it’s just some kind of a scar. Anyway, pls check it out just to be 158% sure

Probably going to .............
just watch them for now, in my experiences with lung nodules its going to be in your best interest to watch them and in 3 months have a ct scan, if they have grown you need to take a proactive approach to get them out either via surgery or ablation if possible, especially if you'd be ned by removing them. I just had a 7mm left lung nodule removed via surgery two weeks ago today, it was to small to biopsy and and I took the gamble that it was rcc and pushed the surgeon to get it out and sure enough I made the right bet the pathology report came back positive for rcc. So one more time Im now ned again.
I cant speak anything about ablation but this is my 3rd lung surgery removing nodules and its rough the 1st couple of days post surgery, then its not bad, Im actually back at work this morning on light duty for 30 days. Good luck

Hi Trucker,
have you talked to the doc?
Yea i went on Wednesday. The doc seems to think this second nodule was missed on my baseline scans by a different radiologist. We will rescan again in 6 months but He and She fill that it's nothing to worry about. So, I guess we will watch and wait..If no growth I will go to annual scans!! 4mm they say is small to biopsy and radiologist also feels that are not from maliginecy..

Trucker,
4 cm nodules are common for those both inside and outside our club. Nothing to worry about at this point.

Six weeks after surgery scan finds lung nodules and one in lymph
Hi. I am new to the group. I had surgery 2/7/19. My right kidney and tumor (6.2 cm) were removed. I also had RCC in my vena cava, which was also removed. I had a chest scan yesterday and it was determined that there were a couple 4mm in my lung and a 1 cm in a lymph node in my chest. They were not detected in my MRI back on 2/1/19. I am scheduled for a bronchoscopy next week and am trying to not go crazy. I cannot understand how it could have returned so quickly.
