Bowel cancer
I had a Iliostomy for 10 months. Took a while to get used to.Rolling over in bed then leakage. One good was i had a plastic container so i could empty my bag any where Keep hand towels and sanitser with you. I ate most foods but i took Lopiramide tablets, they were capsules that slows things down and you need to cut the end off and tip contents onnto a spoon and swallow. Easy as. I still drank a lot of water. 6 Months Folfox 5 this time last year and pill form Chemo with radiation the year before. Been nearly 2 years
Reversal done last September and Colonoscopy last week shows all clear , i had bowel tumuor. My CEA is 1.6 I am walking on cloud nine so happy and every day is a blessing. Do not give up it's all doable and every day now i feel blessed. I live in New Zealand and 73 nearly
