in Kidney Cancer #1

Just visited my Urologist for the year 2 scan report. I had been having scanxiety since the CT scan in September. So glad that it is NED and I can finally relax a bit. It is the first set of CT scan after my surgery in 2016.

 

There will be US and Chest X-ray in 6 months, I don't want to move to the annual scan yet because of the close margin and the Urologist is ok with it. I need the peace of mind.

    Yes, was doing US and Chest X-ray only. So I am very anxious this time, worrying something wasn't show up before might show up this time.

    But you did have to wait for a loooong time for results (scan in September, results in secong half of OCT, ouch)

    Yes, the wait time seems like a norm in Canada. Some hospital already have the patients portal, looking forward to see one being developed.
