Diagnosed with vin III - Aldara cream/natural remedies?
Hi all. Not sure if this is the right board for this topic but here goes. I was diagnosed with VIN III in June of this year and had a wide local excision to remove some of it on July 25. The surgery went well but my oncologist informed me at my follow up that there are other concerning spots showing VIN III but he doesn't want to surgically remove it all as it would pretty much disfigure me in that area. (I'm only 28 years old) I'm going back in 2 months after I'm completely healed from surgery to decide on the next step. He mentioned trying Aldara cream on the other spots, which I will probably try. Has anyone tried this and what was your experience with it? I've also been trying to eat healthier to boost my immune system and I've been looking into taking some natural supplements to help with this. I read that indole-3-carbinol is good for detoxification and reducing the risk of a lot of cancers. I can't really find any info relating it to this kind of (pre)cancer though. Has anyone ever tried this or any kind of natural supplement to aid in their cancer fighting process?

kim, I am a visitor from the
kim, I am a visitor from the Uterine board, but since I have not heard of Aldara cream before I was able to find this:

I can't tell if you are working with a gynecologic oncologist, they are going to specialize in 'below the belt' cancers, but maybe you want to get a second opinion as well. I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. My prayers are for all the warriors.
