Can't find cancer

An oncologist says I have colin cancer but I do not have a colin and they have done all kinds of tests and all of them were negative.  This doctor is a narcissist and will not accept that he may be wrong.  They say I have a spot on my lung from this but I had a colapsed lung and it may be scar tissue from that.  What do you all think and have you ever heard of this happenin .  I have a J pouch instead of a colin.   Thanks

    Colon Cancer

The Cancer could well have spread before you had your colon resected. The colorectal cancer cells, laying dormant, or growing slowly. So yes, it is a possibility.

And yes, the Cancer could have spread to your lungs, though it often appears in the liver first.  But also yes, it could be scar tissue.

If you are not completely satisfied with your Oncologist, then I would strongly suggest you search for another one, or go and get a second opinion.

I wish you all the best, and hope that your worst fears are do not come true.

    J-Pouch

I've got a J-Pouch and that is that you have no rectum not that you have no colon.  They take the colon and make a rectum from it.  I'm wondering if after they took the rectal cancer out if some cells got loose.  Did you do chemo after your surgery?  If you don't like your doctor I'd get a second opinion.  If no one seems to no where the cancer is it's a good time to seek another answer.  Please let us know if you have any questions and what your find out.
