Multiple Liver Metastases
Hello there
My brother, age 68 who never smoked, no alcohol is diagnosed with multiple liver metastases ( two small and one big spot on his liver) covering spleen but not infected, as per CT scan report his kidneys, lungs, bladder, prostate and all other organs are free and normal, doctor requested a biopsy and waiting for the results
Someone please share their experience and show me next step forward, all of us are shaken and traumatized
Really need help

husband with mult. (10) liver mets and lungs mets
Hi, my husband (age 62) was diagnosed last year, stage 4 colon CA with liver, lung and peritoneal mets last August. He was not a candidate for liver resection because the tumors were spread out but did have a chemoembolization done twice (once to each lobe) this past April/May and we were told that all his liver tumors appear dead. We are ecstatic and are now conentrating on his lung tumors. We too were shaken and traumatized when we first got his diagnosis last year but have come to realize that amazing discoveries are being made every day and, per his doctor, he will be around for many years. My husband has a terrific attitude, great support system, and great faith. I believe you need all these things to not let this disease overtake you. Good luck and prayers for your brother.
