Don't Wait
I recently developed a sore spot under the left side of my tongue. Waited 10 days and it did not go away so off to my ENT and he did a biopsy and confirmed cancer. Operated 6/21/18 remove a small amount and have clear margins. Recovered and healed well. Very Thankful. You want to get this looked at right away may not be anything so you go on your way no problem-your ENT will know he is the PRO. If it is the sooner you get it taken care of the smaller problem it is. And for folks like us with cancer history don't don't wait just know you are being proactive and dealing with your circumstances. God Bless

I went to see my ONC, she said it is a good thing I came, stated it could be nothing or it could be something...my ENT is on team so I have a biopsy in 3 weeks......got my fingers crossed, now the waiting is the hardest...I am trying to stay positive

Glad you went in...
I've gone in for "stupid things" a few times in the 16 months since my treatment ended and they looked me over and said things all looked great. I apologized for "coming in for stupid reasons" and of course they say "there are no stupid reasons to come in, it's better to have it looked at than to wait and wish you had gone in sooner".
Good luck...hoping it's nothing and things resolve before your biopsy.

Great You Went In ruben1
Better to be safe than sorry. What the docs saw must be something that is questionable to them so it is important enough to biopsy. This will tell the story of what if anything is going on. Good Luck and Prayers your way that it comes back negative-NED-take care.
