Calcium and Cancer?
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2018/02/bill-sardi/how-to-produce-an-intracellular-calcium-deluge-to-induce-cancer-cell-death/ apologies if this has been posted before--It caught my eye because I am having Avastin induced hypertension and the doc wants to put me on a calcium channel blocker (Procardia)--which may actually help the cancer cells grow according to this resaerch. Has anyone else had to go on a BP med secondary to the Avastin and what was prescribed for you? Appreciate any input!!

There is so much information out there, posted by people with all sorts of qualifications for all sorts of reasons. There is evidence that calcium has some preventitive role in cancer, but I have not yet seen overwhelming evidence. If I were in your shoes I would consult with your doctor on the topic. There is no harm in researching the question yourself, but it might make sense to stick to a database like pubmed, and to look at the source and qualifications of the articles you find there.

Thank you both for your replies..I am having a heck of a time getting oncologist input on best BP med, I would think they would hwve the best knowledge base on chemo drug interactions with BP meds. Am giong to be off of Avastin till July 11 so if it decreases I may ask to reduce dose or discontinue.
