Hello, does anyone have any tips for feeding someone who does not want the PEG? My husband has base of tongue cancer and it has become very challenging getting him to eat anything. He says everything tastes like soap, and the texture is like snot, so eating is like trying to chew and swallow soap-flavored snot. Thanks for any advice you can give!

    Have you checked the Head and Neck Cancer discussion board? I don't have your husband's type of cancer so I can't answer your question. But that board seems to have a lot of posts regarding food-related difficulties. You don't have to be the cancer patient to post on the cancer-specific boards – many caregivers post there to ask their questions. I hope someone there can help.
