High Liver ALT and AST

Hi ,
Need advice . Looking for people with the same problems. After 4 chemo prosedures with 4 stage colon cancer , liver mets , test show elevated ALT and AST . Does it mean that liver get worse with chemo?

Yes
the chemo processes through the liver it will raise your liver enzymes. It should go down when you finish, if the dr doesn’t say anything it may be elevated but not enough to concern the Dr.

Thank you for reply. I also read from other people experience that most medical professionals don't get concerned unless the bloodwork is 4Xs the upper limit of normal.
