Unsure diagnosis
Hi, I'm not sure really sure what I have and what the proper diagnosis would be if and when I were to go to a doctor so I thought this would be a good place to start. For the past few months I have been expeiricening changes in my stool. For example, there is almost always spots of blood in my stool, I have had tarry stools two or three times, and I have had mucus covered stools once. I occasionally have stomach pains in my lower abdomen (which I never have had a problem with before) and nausea. I am fairly young, 16-20 (do not want to disclose my age for personal reasons) so is it possible for this to be colorectal cancer at such an age? I am very worried about this, especially since I had 2 close family members die of colon cancer. As I said, I am quite concerned about this so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You are very young
its possible but very unlikely. You need to see a gastroenterologist as soon as you can. I hope you get some answers and it’s nothing to worry about!
