Sad news about our Lou Ann & Funeral Info
According to Lou Ann's Facebook page, it looks like she is gone. Susan (the Queen of Cheese) and I are friends with her on Facebook and people are offering their sympathy. I have messaged her son to find out what happened and he confirmed she died yesterday morning. He and I had been communicating and this is the last message I had received from him on March 19th.
"She's slowly going, but she having fun as she goes. She sleeps a lot, but has decided that she wants to get up really early. There are times when she is fully there, and there are times when she's not. Thank you for caring, it really does mean a lot."
I don't think she had been having more good days than bad for a long time. Her daughter is working on a post on behalf of Lou Ann.
Love,
Eldri

I've been missing her
And now I will miss her forever. Becca, Daylady, Chris, BC Brady...they were all special to me as I went through treatment. Peace Lou Ann, your fight is over and you fought a good fight and doing so mattered so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am so sorry to hear of Lou Ann's passing. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. She fought UPSC gallantly and bravely and went through a lot. I will miss hearing from her.
Too many women have passed away from our cancer over the past several years and it is just so very sad and tragic.
Cheerful

Going but having fun...
Those words say so much to each of us - Lou Ann is holding her own in how she wants to leave us and to me that says it best. I have been talking to my children about how I want things to be and am listening to how they hope things will be. There is a time for all things and to live well and die well is a major part of our time on this planet. We have so many wonderful models on this site who have shown us the way... rest now sweet spirit.

I have missed you on this board and will always cherish your courage, wisdom and support. Your fight will continue to help others going forward. I hope your family finds comfort that you were happy and loved them every day.

If anyone exemplified the
If anyone exemplified the picture of a warrior on this board, she was that person. She fought this beast for a long time, and did so with humor and determination. Just looking at what she went through inspired so many of us to keep the up the fight, no matter how glum things appeared to be. RIP.

So sad...
It's always so difficult when one of our warriors succumbs. LouAnn was a supportive, informative and compassionate presence on this board, and she will be sorely missed. I take some comfort in the fact that she often spoke of the love and support of her husband and children to ease her journey. Respectful condolences to them. I hope they read this thread and take solace that the feeling for LouAnn expressed here is genuine and profound. Rest in peace, LouAnn. Best wishes, Oldbeauty
