Thank you, everyone!
I'm new here but have been reading your posts for a couple of months. I filled out my profile page so won't reiterate here but have surgery date of June 29, 2018. I can't emphasize enough how much this board has meant to me. You have answered all of my questions and calmed most of my fears. Just want to post a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you! _ Jan

Hi Yellow
Sorry you are here but it sounds like you won’t have too many problems
quick surgery. A bit of pain and then recover
amazing how some masses can cause lots of bleeding and others none

Icemantoo lol!
Actually surgery date was my choice. The doctor said that since it is slow growing June would be ok. I have a mandatory work related recertification class and oral surgery scheduled in April. In May our 12th (and last) grandbaby will be born and another grandchild will be graduating from high school out of state. Gosh, now that I see this in print it does seem a bit frivolous when we are talking about cancer. The doctor is purported to be the best in the state of Wisconsin and the 4th best in the U.S. according to his Aurora profile. Am I allowed to mention the doc's name on here? Growth 1.4 cm according to CT scan in January. What do you all think about June 29 surgery date???

Welcome
And life goes on. These are typically slow growers, so the end of June isn't that far away. Personally, I couldn't get it out of me fast enough once I heard the word cancer. But that's an individual choice, so if you're good with that, that's what's most important, carry on.
Best wishes,
Donna~

Welcome Aboard!
I delayed my surgery for about six weeks after my diagnosis due to...well, life. You should be fine - just get that sucker out and move on. This board definitely helped me keep my sanity during the wait and after...best of luck to you with your surgery and recovery!
