You said it! One at a time, and I am grateful for this one...but as much as I try, I am guarded. Just going to try to soak this one up and stay in the moment as often as possible....THAT'S the plan
Thanks for sharing in my excitement too!
Best wishes!

Thanks Tamlen! It'sTamlen said:Incredible news!
I'm so happy to hear your news, Stacey. You've been through a LOT and it must feel wonderful to hear results like those.
Thanks Tamlen! It's definitely been a journey of discovery, perseverance and experiences I'm glad I don't have to repeat. My doctor/surgeon also disclosed something else that day. He said he operated on another woman who was taking Suboxone. He said he had to give her 15X the normal amount of pain meds to get her pain tolerable. I wish I wasn't the 1st, but I am SO GLAD that nobody else in his practice and at that hospital will ever have to go through the horror of an unmedicated recovery. God gives His toughest battles to His strongest soldiers, and I know we are among those!
Best wishes to you;)

It is amazing to see so many of y'all happy with me! Thank you for taking the time to say so
I'm a horse lover too. I started working on a farm when I was 9, which led to becoming a Vet Tech and managing many barns. I still have hopes of loving a horse of my own one day...until then, I will continue to get things nailed down right, so I can be sure to do everything well.
Thanks again and I wish you the best always

so happy to read this! Congratulations on your good news!
Kathy
Hey Kaleena! I'm so grateful to be able to spread some joy and hope with y'all, especially after everything y'all have done for me...much of which I have only touched on in my posts and responses. I read a lot here. Keep up with folks, and glean so much from the shared experiences, thoughts, feelings, and new found resources. Most of all, it's the way y'all rally around those who need it. If you're new, shy, or just curious...These women are amazing!
Thanks for all you contribute too
May you always be blessed!

Yippee Skippee Stacey! So happy to hear this news. I'm sure it will help you get through the rest of your chemo. And, I agree with Connie - you are beautiful!
Please don't be a stranger. Come back and let us know how you are doing.
Love and Hugs,
Cindi
Oh Cindi! I'm so glad to hear from you too! I imagine you bouncing around while writing this;) I do think it will make this last, hard puch a bit easier in a way that makes sense to US. Thank you for saying I look beautiful. I wish I felt like it; however, I struggled with self acceptance even when I had long, curly hair. I didn't get my senior pictures taken, because I thought I was ugly, yet I was voted the homecoming queen. I'm learning so much as I get older and through this process. Maybe I will learn to believe some nice things that are said and how to better take a compliment as well!
I definitely won't be a stranger. I hope to be like you and several other women here who always seem to know just what to say to strengthen, comfort, celebrate, commiserate, educate, and whatever else needs to be said for the benefit of us ALL.
Thanks for joining in celebration with me right now!
May you have many blessings always!

Congratulations on your fantastic news! Isn't our God glorious? It takes on a whole new meaning of Him referencing Himself as the Great Physician. So grateful He heard the many prayers and answered them in your favor.
Rejoicing with you!
Charissa! Your response has me in tears, as it did the 1st time I read it and as I read it to my family. You said it so eloquently! Thank you for helping me KEEP things in perspective, and I hope I will continue to. I can pull up this thread when I need to get grateful. Thank you again for being a part of my journey.
May you always be blessed!

I'm doing the Happy Dance with you!!! And, you're right! I knew God was still in the miracle making business, but I didn't think they were for me. I've seen so many miracles in people's lives having been in Recovery since1999 (not that I stayed sober since day one;) I have even seen unexplained phenomena in my life. Now I can say for sure that I have experienced a miracle. It HAS to be Him! Thank you for rejoicing with me and for pointing out what I see now to be the obvious....we are all miracles!
I hope your life remains full of blessings!

What great news! Thank you for posting because every positive story gives others hope! Praying continued good outcomes and many many years of excellent health! Kick the big C to the curb!
Betty
Hey Betty! That's exactly what I was thinking too! When I was first diagnosed and through the treatments, I scoured the pages here, looking for outcomes and experiences related to the cancer. Every post I read helped me, but the ones that gave news like this kept me afloat right when I was going down with the depression and thoughts of giving up. I hope I have many more years and positive reports to speak of too....but right now, in this moment, I am SO Grateful for this experience! I'm glad you're a part of it
I hope you have many blessings on the way as well!
