Stent removed!

in Kidney Cancer #1

Had an open partial neph on my right kidney on 1/26.  During the procedure, my ureter was cut.  My surgeon repaired it and put in a stent.  It irritated me over the last month, but not horrible.   I had it removed today.  Wow.  That wasn’t fun.   How long does the burn last during urination?    I burns the same as the stem being removed, so hoping it resolves quick.   Thanks!

    Glad the stent was removed. 

    Glad the stent was removed.  I hope they gave you a round of antibiotics and checked for uti just in case. The burn shouldn't last more than a few days, but everyone and every case is different.  Feel good!

    Pain is completely gone!!  

    Pain is completely gone!!    So, roughly 36 hours.  Not fun but so happy that is over.  Now to finish healing.
