i would check HIFU out asap - https://www.hifuprostateservices.com/frequently-asked-hifu-questions/
why this organization doesn't permit hyperlinks is beyond my understanding.
Rich,
CSN permits hyperlinks. It is just difficult to get them to work. In the past I used Internet Explorer (IE), and posted links all the time with no difficulty. A year or so ago I switched to Google Chrome with my Windows 10 upgrade, and links have not worked here since, although I still link stuff in emails and texts all the time. I have even tried to set the links manually with the Set as Hypertext function on the Tool Bar, with no luck.
I have noticed recently that many other regulars here also can no longer submit links. Why, I don't know. My Settings at Chrome are "mainstream," not very restrictive to cookies or other issues.
Good luck; if you find an easy fix, please share.

for a patient such as Steve. Not my judgment, but that of the American Urological Association:
https://www.auanet.org/guidelines/clinically-localized-prostate-cancer-new-(aua/astro/suo-guideline-2017)
See recommendation 12.
The reason for this recommendation, in plain language, is that a cancerous prostate probably has several cancereous sites within it, some of which probably too small to be seen and treated. Hence, there will be a need for more HIFU down the line. It just makes so much more sense to irradiate the whole prostate, whether from the outside or with seeds 'from the inside'.

rich22, everyone wants a cure that works, and doesn't have side effects. That doesn't exist. Period.
HIFU has been around for at least 15 years, and while it has fewer side effects, it also has higher recurrence rates than surgery or radiation. Take your time and don't be mislead by promises that evidence-based studies cannot substantiate.0
