Biotin
Hi everyone! This is my first time here. I started taking Anastrazole (sp?) about 3 months ago and I'm losing a good bit of hair. Has anyone tried Biotin and has it helped with hair growth? My surgeon suggested I try it.

It has helped me
my hair was in very bad shape I had it cut very short in September ! I did start after that on a gummy vitamin called natures bounty for hair skin and nails it has biotin in it ! I have noticed a difference in my hair and nails they are really nice ! Skin it's winter here really dry from heat on ! But yes for me hair is better And nice nails is a plus mine always broke off !
Good luck !

Biotin seems to help
I also added Biotin as my hair began to return. While being on an AI my hair is still thinner than it was prior to chemo, I do see a difference. At first I tried just the biotin alone, but then I switched to a multivitamin with biotin included.
Best of luck!

Biotin
Thank you Teresa and Teach. I appreciate the input. I have 1000 mcg. caplets. I just started taking them yesterday, I took 2. I think I'll amp it up to 3 and see how that works out before going up to 5000 mcg. Hope this post finds you both doing well.

Biotin
I am going to the store tomorrow to get some of those gummy vitamins, cant hurt to try that too! Also , my lymphedemia specialist gave me Eucirin skin cream that is working great on my dry elbows and legs and feet. and she also taught me to do lymph massage to my whole face and head. It feels great. It helps very much move the toxins out of your body. You can find the videos on Youtube.
Hugs,
Annie
