Here we go - surgery scheduled

in Kidney Cancer #1

Monday, February 19th - radical laproscopic neph.  Excited and scared ****less at the same time.  What should I expect when I wake up from the surgery?

    I wish I coukd tell you it is painless, but I would be laughed off this forum. We have all been there and done that. May you have a routine and uneventful surgery. Mine was 15 and 1/2 years ago.

    At the top right corner you have a "search CSN content" icon.  Click that and search.  You'll should find several threads with information and input about post surgery recomendations.  Good luck!

    Take it easy and let people help you. Espically for the first week or so. Your recliner will be your best friend for a week or so too.
