My mom has cancer for the second time
The first time my mom had cancer it was a tumor in her colon and the doctor was able to remove it and then had chemo has a preventative measure. Now we have found out that she has cancer again in several spots and she is having to go through more agressive chemo this time around. It has been a rough couple of years for my family. First we lost my paternal grandmother, then my uncle (technically my aunts husband but I consider him my uncle), then my maternal grandfather, then my maternal grandmother, my mother's sister, and then my husband's grandfather. Plus a few more. Now my mother has to go through chemo for a second time around. Just the other day she realized that her hair is starting to fall out. I keep telling her that she just needs to get a wig. I recommended an old school Reba wig. hehe....the large Reba hair. she said uhh ok. then we laugh for a few moments. she has been through so much and I just hope that I can be there for her and be whatever she needs.
She has a great support system around her. Along with me is her 4 sisters and brother. Also several of her nieces and nephews that love and care for her very much. we have the love and support but I am her only daughter. My older brother is involved as much as he can but he lives in another state (we are in Alabama and he lives in Texas). I hope that I can be enough for her and be the best emotional support I can be.
Thanks for any advice in advance,
Claudia D.

Hi Claudia,
Hi Claudia,
My mom also went thru something similar, she had a tumor in her Colon that was discovered March 2013 and it was removed, she went thru remission for 5 months and it came back in her liver (multiple tumors) and Uterus along with Nodules in her chest. She fought for over 2 1/2 years went thru multiple chemos and immunotherapys. She is now in hospice care at home howver we recently discovered Essiac tea, you might want to do research since your mom is still early stage, its suppose to help, I have faith in it. My mom's friend cousin took it when the doctor told him he only had 3 months to live, since my mom's cancer is terminal and to advanced I think it's to late to give her the tea, she did take it 3 days in a row but she has fallen into delirum and its a bit to late for it. Hope your mom can over come this HORRIBLE Cancer. Stay positive.
