in Kidney Cancer #1

i scan again. I still hate it. But, I’m doing it. They did see some lung nodules on a recent MRI on my heart. Not real worried, yet. I’ll fight that battle when it comes.

    Good luck with your scans! Nodules can be nothing (see Apny's latest ordeal with them), but it is always better to check!

      It's funny, I think about you guys in here alot. Glad to see most are still here. I'm just trying to live, I hate putting my life on pause to go and scan and be reminded that I'm sick. I'll take any support I can get. I think the difference with me is I found you guys after the fact. After my surgery and going through so much alone. Not that it was a bad thing, it's just how it happened. I had a dream last night that I told someone I had a scan coming up, she was diagnosed before me. She just said "oh no" and the dream was over. Weird. Hugs back to you, my friend.

    Well wishes to you Crash on your scans coming up. It sucks.......it just plain sucks. BUT, when you get that all clear, we'll see you again in 6months, a year or whatever, it's like winning a mini-lottery.

    when do you do your blood work? I'll probably go today and start the process, pee in the cup, tell them my birthday 12 times.

    congrats crash ! now  back to life for the next year. I also hate the scans. i get very  very bad anxiety the day of the scan. i get my results the same day so no waiting which some people say is good but man i get so scared my bp was 179 over 120 something last time. i also thought about not doing scans  anymore but i realize that it has to be done and i will continue with them. my 4 year scan is coming up in febuary. i think i might switch where i haved them done so i can just go in the morning havre the scan and then go on with life. it is nice to get the results the same day but waiting in that office is brutal. i know it sounds cowardly but i would rather i have the scan and then just go home and they call my wife and tell her the resullts and then she can just tell me .
