Home in my recliner
Hi All,
I had my kidnery, right one, removed on Monday morning and Wednesday the Dr. released me. Said the surgery went well and he didn't see any other issues.
Acturally the whole proceedure was a lot beter than I anticipated. The hospital stay was great, the nurses and staff there, Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, were the best.
My biggest problem encountered was constipation, but working through that.
Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers.

Glad all went well
Walk as tolerated, drink fluids, rest when tired and keep up those stool softeners. It sounds like you will be fine in no time! Best wishes!

Have been taking Coloxyl
and stopped day 7, was eating porridge as well, skipped the porridge and the coloxyl, went straight back on it 2 days later. 10 days out things are still swollen and sore inside (like a hard work out and a 4 month pregnant belly) so obviously not all back to rights yet.

Hope your are felling better.
Hi I was like that for a full week of constipation and took stool softeners and laxatives and tnen on the 8th day all hell broke loose so to speak. What a mess but sure felt better. then for a day couldn't stop it. Am doing fine now. Like icemantoo said, no one in their right mind wants constipations after a neph.
