Finally back from Tampa.
Finally back from Tampa. Thank you so much everyone, it means the world to me. I won't know for a couple of days I imagine. They said they'll send copy to my urologic oncologist in NY (who ordered this CT to begin with) and post it on my portal as well. Keeping fingers crossed.
Jan, problem is, I don't necessarily see a doctor. My surgery was in NY as is my doctor because that's where I was living at the time of diagnosis. Now I'm in Florida near Iceman. It was this last follow up there that saw something on the chest x-ray and he wanted a CT scan. Since I didn't want to fly back to NY for it I had it done at Moffitt in Tampa. So it's not like I'm going to see anyone to discuss results. I imagine I'll see the results on my portal first. Hopefully I won't have any reasons to hear from or see my doc back in NY.
Thank you again to everyone. Big hugs and lots of love to all.

Hopefully clear
Apny,
Hopefullly the CT will show nothing to be concerned about. Sometimes Chest CT's will pick up small nodules which are common with non club members as well and sometimes the protocol is for a folllow up as well 6 or 9 months down the road. I have had 5 chest CT"s in the last 7 years all for things unrelated to my RCC. My Urologist, Pulmonologist and Nephrologist up North have all said good to go. My Pulmonologist (former) down here wants me to get more Chest CT's (as well as a sleep study which I have refused) as being unnecessary.

It still is not a big deal
But because you have been so healthy, it might be something to have addressed. I seem to always have several lung thingies that come and go. They never get to big. So i still get my 3 month scans at a minimum. But they never require any specific treatment. I'm confident you'll be ok too. It's just something else to keep track of.

Thank you so much everyone.
Thank you so much everyone. Got the results. Nothing suspicious and suggests follow up, which I have in October anyway. I have one 3 mm ground glass nodule on lower right lobe and one 2 mm one on the lower left. What shocks the hell out of me is that the X-ray picked up the 2 mm one and that's why I was sent for the CT to begin with. I can't believe it picked up something so small.
I'm so greatful to you all. Can't ever express how much your support and good wishes mean to me. Love you all!

Sometimes
this old guy has a good medical intuition. I think you aged more from worrying about this than the lesions will ever do. Again the good news is that you have another baseline that will always be watched closely. Do your cheeks hurt from smiling yet? Lot's of Karma is being shared here these days.
