Thank you ReeRee , its like

Thank you ReeRee , its like you sit and think of how they are going to tell you your life as you know it is done over ...I just had CT and I feel like everyone knows something and waiting for them to walk in ....anxiety and depression has taken over and at times when I stop thinking about it I feel like I just set myself up for the worse. I'm rambling because I'm scared...

When I went in, I had the CT

When I went in, I had the CT and the ER doc came in and told me that they found a mass. I asked what it meant and she said that it's likely cancer. She then asked me if I ate a lot of red meat. Not very good bedside manner there. Yes, I was very worried. No, I didn't know what the future held but there are tons of people here that have gotten through this. And I scratched around as hard as I could to get an idea as to how they did that and what I should expect along the way.

Mikenh - not the end of the world

Recently been where you are.  Waiting is terrible, and unfortunately we (my husband) received terrible news.  But, we have adjusted and have had time to wrap our heads around it - Stage IV, mets to liver, lung.  He is in treatment, already has had 4 rounds of chemo.  We don't expect a cure but do expect to grow old together, just a new normal to adjust to.  If there was ever a time to be a CA patient, it's now.  Discoveries are literally being made everyday.  I wish you wellness and will keep you in my prayers.  Please post your progress.
